The Art of Comic Sans

I never understood why people hate comic sans, turns out neither do non-designers. There are actually very few designers that can tell me why Comic Sans MS is so hated. In 2nd year we were tasked with making people 'feel' what its like to have a disability and as we went through the design process I realized there were many similarities to my dyslexia and so this project was born.

Fact is that comic sans is one of the easiest fonts to read. Comic sans is one of the only font that make it easier for me as a dyslexic to see words forget about read words.
With this design I hope to make comic sans haters see that comic sans is one of the worlds biggest crutches for most of those with learning disabilities. As designers we should not over look this wide spread problem.

This 'cheesy' flipbook animation is about why Comic Sans is an important font.
It is clear that comic sans is not conceded a professional or pretty font but, while it is important, there's more to a font than just aesthetics.
There are designers that hate comic sans so this flipbook animation it to show designer that comic sans is actually really useful.
(mind the cheese)
This is the main over all story
The beginning is basically an intro trying to show the problem and ho comic sans solve it. The rest is just a fun cheesy little story explaining it differently exploring more of how it feels or felt.
the entire book has this typed out, fade in style
Thanks for checking out this project
